Young Rembrandts - Drawing Classes for Kids

Young Rembrandts is the only after-school art enrichment program that teaches art, using a methodology specifically designed to improve student perception, visualization and organizational skills. At Young Rembrandts we teach children to draw – the fundamental skill of all visual arts – using a sequential, ordered process. As a result, students show dramatic improvement in their drawing abilities, expand their art vocabulary and art history knowledge, demonstrate patience, discipline, focus, and improve their attention to detail and sequencing skills.

1st Session: Whimsical Wonders: Draw & Discover!

(Ages K - 5th Grade)

Let’s turn the back-to-school season into an art-filled adventure! In Young Rembrandts, kids will dive into exciting drawing projects like a zany gumball machine, a video game-inspired still life, a spotted puppy tucked in for a cozy nap, and a glittering Egyptian headdress that takes them on a time-traveling journey. We’ll even explore color magic with a cozy fall illustration that introduces warm and cool color theory. 2nd Session: Cold Winds Cartooning Edition

Goodbye boredom, hello creativity! Our Cartoon Drawing class will have your child laughing while learning. This season, we’re bringing characters to life—kids will draw silly food faces, and even an action-packed turkey riding on a skateboard. They’ll master facial expressions and imaginative storytelling, while we’re sketching lively party animals, and creating hilarious characters full of personality and expression.
