(Grades 5 - 6)

Tournament basketball is for players in grades 5 and 6 only and will include participation in tournaments, and possibly some league games. The team will participate in 5-8 tournaments depending on availability and costs. Tournament location is TBD, but some tournaments might be 1+ hours away. Teams will usually be made up of 8 players. If there are more players registered evaluations will be conducted. Equal play time is not guaranteed as this league is focused on competition while developing skills. Playing time will vary based on attendance, effort, attitude, practice participation, and game situations. Grades may be combined based on the number of players. Players who sign up for tournament basketball cannot register for recreational basketball, however, if there aren't enough players for a tournament team, players will have the option to sign up for recreational basketball in its place. Tournament basketball is not available for 3rd and 4th graders.

Please note tournament basketball may entail additional costs beyond the registration fee. These costs may include spectator admission fees, meals, hotels and transportation.

Tournament team registration will end on October 17, 2026.

A parent/player meeting will take place in October at Central High School Auditorium. Date and time is TBD. Parents and players in third and fourth grade students should attend this planning meeting. Players in fifth and sixth grade should attend if they have questions. There is a fee of $60 if you need a game jersey. Buy jerseys through Youth Basketball Jerseys - Grades 3-6.
