    California Sushi Roll Extravaganza When it comes to actual sushi that is made with sushi grade raw fish such as salmon or tuna wrapped in rice and seaweed, the sushi tolerance spectrum runs from a very strong “YES” or a very strong “NO” with little wiggle room in between. Enter California “sushi” Rolls that overwhelmingly turn the strong “NO’s” into strong yeses! Join Tess as she walks you through how to make a variety of the most marvelous California rolls that will make you wonder why you haven’t tried to make your own before. California “sushi” roll combinations are only limited by your imagination! Make them vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or not, it is totally up to you! Learn the skill of creating delicious seasoned sushi rice, spicy mayo, and how to stuff, wrap / shape the rolls, with wonderful filling ingredients. One of these fillings is a “crab” salad that will be created using crab sticks. Tess will also provide a demonstration plate decorating ideas! Make it a date night or family night as you create lasting memories in your kitchen! Have your questions answered by the instructor, interact with other participants as you cook along, and increase your confidence in the kitchen with each skill that is learned, and each little bit of advice and instruction that is shared. While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. A professionally made PDF packet of the Instructors Personal Recipes from this class will also be received. This class will take place on Zoom; free on-line software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. As an added bonus, the instructor has created a private group and a public group on Facebook for participants of her cooking classes. Everyone will receive an invite to the groups although joining is optional. Come join the fun! Ingredients / supplies in case participants wish to order or shop early for some ingredients: Sushi rice, sushi nori /seaweed sheets, toasted sesame oil, (Japanese) rice vinegar. Additional ingredients will be listed in the information packet that will be received 3—5 days before the class. Bamboo sushi rolling mat can be helpful, but not necessary. Note: One registration fee for this on-line virtual interactive class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home ONLY. If children are participating, adult supervision is required. Join Chef Tess for one of her newest classes as she guides you through the process of creating three exceptional confectionary creations: a Classic French Fruit Tart, a version of a Greek Phyllo Pastry Tart called “Bougatsa”, and...CAKESICLES, a sweet treat that is the latest craze of a cake-on-a-stick! Popular desserts any time of year! NOTE: The instructor’s recipes are copyrighted and are only shared with those who register for this class.     Rally Up for Stiftungsfest: Serve, Smash, Celebrate in the Second Annual Pickleball Tournament! Men, Women and Coed Teams at advanced and intermediate divisions Each player needs to have their own separate online registration and payment. The first registration will be $30/person. This includes a t-shirt and snacks. You can register for an additional division by going into the new division section and selecting the $20 registration fee. The top eight teams in each division will move into brackets. Games are the best two out of three.     Annual Craft Fair held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 22nd, 2025. There are over 200 crafters located in Central High School. Each booth space is approximately 8x10 feet.
