Recreational basketball is a 5 on 5 league that focuses on having fun and developing skills. This league participates in the Waconia league playing games on Saturdays in local communities as well as one or two tournaments. Games are played at various sites around the area like Glencoe, Waconia, Watertown, Belle Plaine and Lester Prairie. Grades may be combined based on the number of players
A parent/player meeting will take place in September at Central High School Auditorium. Date and time is TBD. Parents and players in third and fourth grade students should attend this planning meeting. Players in fifth and sixth grade should attend if they have questions. There is a fee of $50 if you need a new game jersey. You can get a jersey by searching Youth Basketball Jerseys 3-6.
