Young Rembrandts - Drawing Classes for Kids

Young Rembrandts is the only after-school art enrichment program that teaches art, using a methodology specifically designed to improve student perception, visualization and organizational skills. At Young Rembrandts we teach children to draw – the fundamental skill of all visual arts – using a sequential, ordered process. As a result, students show dramatic improvement in their drawing abilities, expand their art vocabulary and art history knowledge, demonstrate patience, discipline, focus, and improve their attention to detail and sequencing skills.

1st Session: My Winter Sketchbook

(Ages PK - 5th Grade)

This winter, Young Rembrandts students will build skills and confidence while creating artwork that’s as fun as it is rewarding! Our Winter Sketchbook lineup includes an energetic snowboarder scene, personality-packed penguins, a bright and cheerful winter birdhouse, and a playful llama. We’ll also draw inspiration from art history with a Young Rembrandts interpretation of Grant Wood’s American Gothic. 2nd Session: Draw Me Into Spring

(Ages PK - 5th Grade) 

Spring is in the air—and so is creativity! This season, Young Rembrandts artists will explore warm and cool colors while drawing a detailed house scene, discover the magic of still life, and recreate a famous masterpiece by Edward Hopper.
