Nickie Welsh is an experienced instructor who is passionate about helping all adults use technology to improve their lives in a positive way. Through live online training, she provides practical and fun classes for you using popular social media platforms, ride sharing apps, and more to help eliminate technology overwhelm. Her goal is to make technology useful for all adults, bringing out the benefits of an area that is changing at such a rapid pace for all age levels. All live online classes are also recorded, so that if you're unable to make the exact time, you can watch it again at your convenience. Please note that each class is taught live online through zoom. If a student is unable to attend the live online training time, they can still register and watch the recording of the training at their convenience. Follow-up support is also included from the instructor and students are encouraged to reach out with questions at any time before or after the class has concluded. Zoom links will be sent via email before class. Canva for Awesome Beginners Unlock a world of creative possibilities with Canva, the ideal digital tool for beginners and novices! This class will teach you how to harness the power of Canva, the easiest design website available, all for free. You’ll learn to create stunning designs, form scratch or use templates with step-by-step guidance for any digital image you need. Whether it’s online documents, business cards, email signatures, or more, you’ll leave this class with the confidence and skills to use Canva effectively and creatively. Sassyfras Cookie Decorating Class (ages 14+) In this two-hour beginner friendly class, you will learn about royal icing consistencies, practice piping, flooding, and detail techniques, and leave with 6 beautifully decorated cookies. What’s provided: Six cookies & icing All supplies to decorate your cookie set Box to take your cookies home in.
